XD Sakura is all flirty and flaunting herself there... demonstrating her love to him, but Ryu is so clueless and dumbfounded. He doesn't know what to do. Great pic, love the emotions and expressions this is giving. Keep it up.
Why would he be? Dan sees Sakura only as a student and treats her as a little sister. Ryu on the other hand has very conflicted feelings concerning Sakura and doesn't see himself as even being worthy of actually being her Master. Sakura on the other hand is in love with Ryu, as per SF IV where she acknowledges her feelings for him, and sees Dan as a Master and elder brother.
heh. well even at ten years she's still somewhere within the bounds of being a woman and having a relationship with him within legal bounds should they both choose it. face makes it look like ryu might consider it.
My parents are 20 yrs apart and still manage it. :/ Different cultural thoughts and such. Also why I get upset when people start about age differences as something bad, as long the people are consenting individuals and undeniably love one another I see nothing wrong with the relationship.
mine are 15, though they do admit perhaps due to the age difference some of the issues they have may have been avoided if they were closer to age. (though i think it's more a personality clash than anything) age isn't really relevant as long as both can keep the other in mind and don't just think of themselves.
Personality clash is a different story. I just dislike it when people jump onto age as the final conclusion on the matter, when there are some cases of people from different age group who make it work. You stated it so nicely with the final sentence... "age isn't really relevant as long as both can keep the other in mind and don't just think of themselves".
yeah, the issue is being able to think in the other and realizing they'll have different physical and emotional differences due to age/disease/ect. age is really not that relevant if they know how to figure these things out and watch out for each other. with my own oc's for example, a pair of women married to one individual are over a 1,000 years his senior. they just keep in mind his limits and where he is in skill and that's pretty much about it while keeping in mind that he's more current with the world about as compared to they. age isn't necessarily something that means it "can't work." just something that makes the understanding of things different
heh. and juri resolves that problem by kidnapping him and making him hers. though there are hints that cammy and rose also find an interest in him and he's one of the only ones juri finds attractive, (or at least she respects him unlike most everyone else.) I think he has quite a few choices in the women's department.
Then you have Akuma. He has such an obsession over Ryu that it borderlines homoerotic. LOL He wouldn't demonstrate it very clearly of course, since he is beyond conventional labeling and such, but he wouldn't deny himself the opportunity to overpower everyone or anyone in whatever which way he could possibly can to proof he is the best. XD
akuma is an individual/unique case and I'd be somewhat fearing what type of relationship he'd go for if he tried for one. of course the idea he may be ryu's dad also adds to the possible obsession as a father demanding his son follow in his footsteps, which gives more logic to akuma's obsession beyond molding the best fighter around into a clone of him
Very well stated and yes in some moments I get that feeling too (seeing Akuma as Ryus' dad). Unfortunately, Capcom isn't known for its consistency. In the Alpha Generations animation, there was a possibility that Sayaka was pregnant with Gouki/Akumas' kid, which some people think the child is Ryu. Meanwhile in the Udon comics (Capcoms' official licensed comics) doesn't state that for Akumas' story. :/ The SF origins story for Akuma makes it very clear that he had no time to be baby making. He either spent time in Tokyo fighting or in caves mediating or training in mountain tops. No sign of a woman for Akuma beside the last moments with his mother as a kid, giving the impression he has no interest in such matters and making it really hard to put together the idea that Ryu is his kid. Also there was no Sayaka for Akuma or Gouken at all, which upsets me the most about that graphic novel. As for Ryus' father, he was some dude who killed the father of Akuma and Gouken. Later in the story we see Akuma releasing his Dark Hadou on the guy for vengeance and even burns the village where the guy was in. This caused Gouken to storm out of his meditation moment in the cave to go rescue the wife of the guy who murdered his dad years ago and her child. The woman couldn't survive so she handed her child to Gouken. This child is Ryu. The comic is beautifully done but the storyline is eh. Luckily I got it for the art work and not the story, because if I got it for story I would be so mad. It got saved for some sexy looking Akuma moments. LOL
